uh,..was that necessary? I realize you where trying to make a joke but most people who read this forum are going to do the exact same thing aflec is. Not to be rude but try to be a little bit more clear in your subjects

i know i'm gonna get some heated reponses for this but in my opinion just based on our frequent inability to score in the playoffs hudler > samuelson he's lights out when he's alone and can flat out shoot and surprise surprise it's not 30 feet away either!
-
he still traded the highest scoring right wing in history because he thought he'd "never make it as an NHL player"
-
that too
-
to the tune of magic stick by 50 cent huds has the magic stick if he can shoot it once he'll beat you twice yeah or teams the baddest s#$t we kicked you butt tonite our sticks are mmmmagggiccc,..maaaaagiiic

damn these two games reminded me of the scf,.....it seriously looked like the refs tried to hand the cup to edmonton, and it serioulsy looks like the refs want nashville to win our division.

i really don't htink Z and Dats will be spilt up for the post season unless we start to struggle. I really like what calder has brought to the table and i look foward to seeing what he can do. I also think Bert's going to be on our top line before all is said and done.
-
see you bring up another point, he's also a euro, which instantly means to the hockey power that be (admit or not) that he's somehow inferior to NA players.
-
you'll never win that argument with hockey historians who look for the guys who make those spectacular plays and ignore guys who just do everything right, therein lies the thing with nick; He doesn't do the flashy things, he doesn't skate all the way down the ice like orr or coffey and score the stanley cup winning goal. He doesn't cream an opponent into next week like a shore,....he's just flat out hands down the greatest "i'm going to shut you down mentally" Defencemen in the NHL.

williams who?

i was going to keep this one to myself but i feel the gdt is the perfect place to do it,....i was on the preds board (and let me preferences this by saying the few nashville fans on this board are very knowledgeable about the game) but i noticed one of there stickies was explaining the rules of the game in general, it had something like six pages to it,.........i just stared at the screen in disbelief.

the kid is a pure goal scorer plain and simple, he's not especially gifted Defensivly or speed wise but he can flat out deke a goalie senseless and has a very accurate shot. It's not a bad thing, but he's my dark horse to have a good playoffs.

because kindl came within a breath of making the club during training. Not bad, in fact if we wern't as deep as we are on D he'd be up now
-
yeah, the jackets sounds like the best plan. I doubt highly bert wants to remember his first game in a wings uniform to be him getting booed relentless everytime he touched the puck
-
well i feel sorry for the next team that plays us

the nhl reached its real peak in popularity in the late 80's early 90's,....why? There was character to the game yes you had the flashy guys who could score flat out or, just fly like the wind, but those guys arn't nearly as remembered as the guys who lunchbucketed it, guys like probert and kocur are a perfect example. During those days in the late 80s when we really stunk it up we still had fans? why? Because we had the flash in yzerman and the blue collar efforts of probert and kocur. The NHL is at an impass we have a league full of guys who can straight score all day and who are truly amazing, now where's the passion. Where's the mcsorlys, proberts, kocur, hell where are the domi's? hockey needs passion,..which means hockey needs fighting and hitting.
