please oh please oh please get jason blake. I love watching this guy play, fast, never takes a shift off and is absoutly lights out through the neutral zone. He may not be big but i can tell you a team like edmonoton wouldn't be able to play dumb and chase (yes i'm aware i mispelled that) with a guy like that chasing the puck

it wasn't too long ago that this man was a pure goalscorer and the most dominate power forward in the league (please please please,..lets not aruge about the defintion of power forward again shall we?) He's exactly the kind of guy we need in Detroit that we havn't had in years. Guys like cleary but on a more skilled level, who know there career is in the toilette and this might be there last shot at playing with a respectable team. Men with nothing to lose, and everything to prove are very very dangerous. I think he'd destroy people if he wore the red and white.

funny, torres does something similar to williams but manages to stay on his feet which sends jason off the ice in a stretcher. All around the league,....clean hit..nothing wrong with that, you hate to see it happen but keep your head up etc. etc. Kronner puts one skate up and even gives lupul more time to see him comming and it's a dirty hit,...give me a break.

absolutly what we need, maybe not so much in the grit department even though he's a big ol' boy. Even still he'd be a perfect match for z and dats. As others have said though his price would high. however if we dont' have what it takes to trade for this guy what makes us think we have what it takes to get some of the other big names?

if you're referring to the 72 summit series where the best the nhl has to offer barely squeaks by after comming behind three games i'm sorry but there's no comparison. Nationally it would be very easy to say one game is better than the other depending on the country. What makes the miracle on ice, a miracle is the fact that a bunch of teenagers who really didn't have much a spectular nhl career after that (broten excluded) beat the most powerful team in the world at the time. A team that embarrassed the nhl when they played them. But a group of kids with sheer willpower and some lucky goals topples them straight down. Think about it, it's like a high school hockey team beating the 02' wings. It's unbelievable but it was that drastic.

great game that was almost sullied by some horrible officiating, Vanek gets behind the buffalo defence and is blatenly hauled down late in the 3rd,..no call Brier gets drilled without the puck after he spends a good 20 seconds dekeing around making the Ottawa D look like junior hockey- No call Brier barley touches an ottawa player with his stick-hooking, powerplay for the last 2 for ottawa lame Really glad to see Buffalo win it in OT horrible officiating ruins any game.

goalies are a flaky bunch so it doesn't surprise me that he doesn't have the greatest attitude with fans, i haven't met to many goalies who are, maybe i'm wrong on this and if i am please tell me, but i've heard alot of fans talk about how all the big name goalies are jerks, Brodeur, Roy, eddie the nutjob (at least he used to be a money goalie). I guess if had to stop someone from shooting a black rubber disk going 100 miles and hour i'd be cranky too.

yeah, as i said the trap made the sport extremely boring. It may have brought jersey a few cups but it made for some less than inspiring hockey

spectors has reported the same story, i really hope sj doesn't get ahold of him the sharks looked scary enough this season.
