a very weird trade in my opinion,..it's like they traded jack johnson for a D man and big joe,.....(its what the carolina slappies call him) he's a good player, led the team about three years back.

i don't know much about soccer but i've been told that game was very very personal to the mexicans and by losing it they look like faliures.

yes i'm aware of that, but i'd rather see a powerplay that paitently waits for that opportunity than sends 5 shots that all miss the goalies net by 2 feet. I'm in no way saying we shouldn't take shots from the point, by all means. But i just fail to see why every powerplay shot we have to take begins at the point.

ouch,..settle down boys, save it for the other team. Honestly what i've been saying all year is why don't we shoot closer to the net, our powerplay and the way it set up is always get the puck to the D, let them unleash a giant slapper and hopefully someone will connect on a rebound. That worked fine last year but for some reason won't this year,..i propose that instead of cyling to the D men we can cycle to the wings (granted this would be helpful if we actually had one) but to me a shot from 10 feet seems to work better than a shot from 20 feet

out of the ones you've mentioned from the caps Zubrus is most likly to go as for us i'd like to have doan but i just don't see that happening

i agree, both the canes and the oilers went to the finals because they addressed needs during the deadline. Teams that didn't (like us) we're eliminated. Everyone knows we're soft and we don't have a scoring winger, time to fix that.

hockey is a multifaceted sport and he has some moves on a shootout, there's no denying that. My question is as a defencemen i'd laugh in his face if he tried most of those trying to get by me. If he had some moves to get around other teams D men, and THEN could do all that i'd be impressed

i'd imagine flordia would want quite a bit for bert given he hasn't played much for them this season and giving him away for nothing would make them look even more dumb for the luongo trade. As far as horton goes i don't seem us getting him for anything less than flip and kronner to start. Eitherway as it's been stated i don't see much happening here.

unless he demands a trade and puts his gm in a tight spot i don't see this happening, mad mike is out of florida so that should see the end of stupid gm moves,...although no one expected big joe to be traded last year either and what they put up for him in sj wasn't astronomical.

I heard alot about this kid last year and i know he made the grifs team. I looked up his stas and hes got a goal and couple assits but that's not always a good indicater of how a player is doing. So what's the scoop?

My name is jesse, I was a freshman in highschool in 97. I Had watched in dismay two years ealier in 95 when they got swept by jersey and my friend at the time was a huge flyers fan. He told me that Big E and the flyers would destroy the red wings in 5 games, he still hasn't lived that one down. Everytime we play a hockey video game together the first thing i say to him is 97. My reaction when they won was shock and awe, seeing steve skate around with the cup was like watching your idol in his moment of glory. I remember dancing around the house and going to school telling anyone that would listen the redwings had won. (Not that anyone cared, i went to high school in HIgh Point NC)

Modin might be avaliable too depending on how much he wants and how successful the bj's are in resigning him.
