if we trade pavel that clears up some room, but 3 million isn't something we can absorb off hand, maybe if we wait till the deadline when most of his salary has been paid.
-
i understand your annoyed but was that nessasary? I asked a question thank you for responding but a simple no, read this would have been nice.
-
i'm all for giving them lang and his 3million plus, maltby wouldn't be bad to trade either. I think there looking for young players who can play now though. I'm thinking it'd take a goalie (which they don't have) and a D prospect
-
howe did it, chelly's still doing it,..i don't see why one of the games greatest players cant.
-
so has he already been drafted?
-
did i read that right 9 games and a crap load of assist,...who owns this kid? mursak is 7th in points, that's not bad
-
one's playing in the nhl, one's still a few years from it. not trying to be a but, just saying i think that's the major sticking point of a lot of people on this kid.
-
so by now it's fairly obvious we need a scoring winger in the worst way. To that end as you notice we have no wingers, we also have a ridiclous amount of centers. My question is who do you think needs a center bad enough to cough up a winger of any consquence?
-
i'm still hoping against hope that shane doan magically makes his way over here for the playoffs
-
yes we've played two games, that will not change the fact we have one player on this entire team who naturally plays right wing. I'm not saying lets sell the farm...it's a " for fun" topic if you can't grasp that then don't bother insulting my intellgence.
-
i'm sorry have you ever seen dominik hasek without his pads? Goaltending is the one positon in hockey where size is normally not an issue as long as your not abnormally small.
-
www.spectorshockey.net Report says that if Dom struggles wings are likly to go after biron via trade. In my mind we already tried this during the offseason that why dom was brought in to begin with. Personally i think if we trade for anything it better be a scoring winger.
-
florida doesn't have decent goaltending prospect in there system. What are they gonna do when belfore retires? If auld stinks it up? Floridas goaltending might be the most suspect in the league next ours.
-
i just don't see why florida would trade a player they recieved so much flak for trading for in the first place. I understand it's a new gm but i think another player outside of bert would be more likely to go.
-
more than we got i'm thinking. Although he'd make a nice line mate for dats.
-
i miss my girlfriend,...alot actually
-
i saw gionta take a run at chara last year near the end of the season, This kid is balls out insane when it comes to his size he's a warrior, something this club lacks. besides you think a guy like that will be reserved to taking permiter shots during playoff time?
-
i read on a hurricanes fan board (he's on of the hurricanes most beloved past players) that he has a fear of flying to. That obviously is messing with his nhl game. If he could get his head screwed on right he'd be exactly what we need.
-
i'm cool with it, did you see what Gerber did in the olympics? Granted he wasn't the only swiss goal who did well but sheesh
-
http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=2428558 so basically yet another russian club is thumbing it's nose at the nhl and hold hostage a great player. Now this kid is dumb for signing that contract in the first place (if indeed he wanted to play in the nhl) but i doubt highly the pens could afford 25 million to pay for this kids ransom. Now then,...do you think if they can't another team could? If so what would the nhl want in return for it?
-
i'm still lost on why we don't take that entire line and make it a line on the wings,..by my logic an enforcer, a scorer, and a playmaker=perfect chemestry
-
you never know, if they try to sign both chara and redding then they may want to make cap space. Your probably right though
-
spectors hockey says that the sens captain may be available after a titanic failure in the playoffs. They also go on to say tyler arnerson may be available as well as he didn't dress for the playoffs. What realitsticly would it take to get alfredson? I say give him lang, hudler, and a pick and see where that goes.
-
i don't care who we get as long as he's a power foward and scores the kinda of garbage goals we need
-
agreed, but the pens cannot afford him so either he stays in russia or his rights are traded. Thus said my question was, what do you think it would take for a team to give up to have his rights, given the hefty price tag above his head
