:drools: sign the kid,...now
-
he will sign for a ridiculous amount of money to a struggling team and then promptly stink like 40 day old egg nog.
-
if where going to trade draper (and where not) we better get someone who can hit and be as effective on the pk or were in deep trouble.
-
we better have an enforcer up if we play this kid, he does that in the nhl and someone's beating the hell out of him.
-
dude as a first semester college student i can offically say ramen saved my life!
-
i question murray's ability to play up to expectation without joe thorton. I'm sure a playmaker like dats or zets could still feed him the puck and i really like nick boyton but homer is kennie's boy. He's not going anywhere.
-
Watching the game tonite they said that 10 teams had reps scouting. Now there either here for the pens or for us. Chances are good there for the pens but i wonder who'd we try and move? Legace didn't play and he's been the topic of most of our trade rumors. Who then? osgood looked real freaking sharp but we'd be a fool to trade him when he gets going. He may suck when he's warming up but when he ketches fire he'll hold you in a game. It's no secret we need D, and we have centers to spare. Maybe they where looking at hudler? Who knows,...

Salei definatly address our need for a hard hitting physical D man. when this guy plays like he's possesed he's deadly. Sykora is a great player, his salary is not though. Don't know the exact figure but i think it's in the 3 mil. mark.
-
i seriously think eklund is some guy, just like us. Who one day got extremely lucky and tricked some leafs fans into thinking he's hockey's biggest insider.
-
there's actually been 13 votes on this thing,...that's hilarous
-
poor guy,...i bet when he signed with pitts of the summer the last thing going through his mind was,...."i wonder if i'm going to miss washington" bet he does now.
-
this guy has me all sorts of excited for the juniors. Here's to hoping he does great!
-
Historically we've always been very active at the deadline (some good some very very bad) i personally think we won't be as busy but i do think kenny is going to trade somebody (my money is on lilja who's been nothing short of awful) Who do you think kenny will trade (if he does) and for who? -discuss
-
salei is who i'd get, but that's just my 2 cents.
-
yeah the islanders always get the better end of trade deals,...... Chara, luongo, spezza,...all shipped out for dipetro and yashin. yup,....those isles,...great at trades (i'm well aware that wasn't one trade, just they shipped out those players and that's what they got for it)
-
i stand corrected
-
LA has some great players but none of them would fit our needs here. You guys are in the same boat we are when it comes to an ageing defence.
-
we waive draper and most if not all 30 nhl teams are going to want him. It's not going to be like marchant and bjs. Where talking about one of the best pkers in the leauge.
-
only problem with trading for witt is there's alot of teams after his services and he won't be traded till the deadline. When he is, the caps are going to want some prospects so we'd probably have to get ride of hudler and one more ahler. I really do like the guy though, i think he'd be an easy fan favorite in hockey town he hits, fights, leads,..does alot but won't score more than 30 points a year for us.
-
as has been said a million times around here draper has a no trade clause.
-
i think he's better than most, i use him and the fourthperiod. Most of the time though fourthperiod never gets anything right.
-
my two cents spectorshockey.net is the best on the web
-
the rules helped no doubt. But don't kid yourself to much. The real reasons there doing so well is they finally have some goaltending worth a spit (see carolina as well) plus Jagr randomly decided to be the best in the world again and poof! instant contenders

martin Brodeur,...nhl backup,....THANKS GARRY!
