i sent a email spectors way at spectorhockey.net. Most of his stuff is from a journalistic point of view and not a "lets see how much crap we can stir up". Still Tampa needs a goalie and we need a D-man. I'd love to see Kubina (spelled wrong) in a red wings jersey, don't think it would happen though.

been a rumor all year, different teams are in it too. There's always fading player and a goalie for struggling player and luango,...totaly crap.

i hope tonites game against the sharks proved that we need some D right freaking now. our guys looked ancient and slow. Sure Matthew had a hat trick (my fantasy team thanks him btw) but everyone else (Except lids for most of the game) sucked,..and sucked horribly. If we wait till the deadline to get some guys we're barly going to make the playoffs.

I concur. I'd never trade Zetterberg now that we have him locked up for four years. He's going to be our first-line left winger (possibly even centre) for many years to come. didn't say i would either,..my point was that trade would make a hell of alot more since carolina's way than staal dats straight up. if carolina trade there best and (right now) most popular player for significantly less talented (yes det. fans i said it, Staal is significatly better than dats) player, They need to move back to hartford and die. I think a more reasonable trade in todays nhl would be staal and vrbada for dats and zetts.

salei is the guy i want. Huge checker and exactly the kind of defensive pressence we need on our blue line. Now the intresting thing to consider is next year there are going to be a plithera of avaliable ufa D men of extreme high caliber. (chara being chief on my list) I Don't care who plays for detroit as long as he can hit the blue hell out of a guy like bertuzzi and can play decent in his own end.

i agree, i think if anything we're going to trade more goalie prospects than D prospects. With fisch out indefinatly (maybe forever ) We're gonna need to hang on to our prospects on D. Chicago probably needs some goalies in there system.

i think this guy is ready to explode if he can keep his body together. He's exactly what detroit needs a speedy winger built like a brick crap house. Add a playmaker to that line up and detroit has a finisher,....who else is dreaming of a Grigorenko (fully healed and ready to go) Dats, and zetts line. -Shazam
