i don't see how everyone says our farm system is so bad with guys like hudler and mcGrath tearing up there leagues. Sure we don't have alot of size but i don't think where going to hurt for scoring centers for a while to come.

i thought hudler was a center? and ditto on the witt thing,...although i've heard alot of teams are shopping for him. He'd be awesome on a line with lids.

i'd give them osgood lilja and mowers for palfy a decent sized d-man. I don't care who at this point a warm body would do better than lilja has.

the only team that would even remotely (and i do mean remotely) make sense is st. louis. This team has zero on the goalie scale but i don't think there even close to having the cap space to grab him.

+/- is not a primary concern. why not? espically for a d-man. That means he's on the ice when a goal is scored. I don't know about you but i prefer my d-men to keep the opposing team from scoring.

sorry to double post, but it occurs to me that carolina desperatly needs a good defencemen. If they get one and staal, ward, and stillman keep producing you might see carolina win the south east if atlanta and florida are racked with injuries all year.
