I still can't believe that Sharks/Kings game, the Kings had a 2 on 0 from Center Ice and didn't even get a shot out of it.

    Datsyuk's Reebok Ads

That's some crazy stuff. We should all be thankful the Wings were able to lock him up long term, I think I'd have to cry seeing him do those moves in another uniform.

3/20 GDT: Red Wings 6 at Thrashers 3

Per MLive - "DETROIT -- Marian Hossa knew he was going to be booed vociferously during his first game back in Pittsburgh, that fans would be eager to express their displeasure about his decision to leave last summer. Especially since he signed with the Detroit Red Wings. But how does he expect to be treated tonight in Atlanta, during his first appearance at Philips Arena since the Thrashers traded him to Pittsburgh late last season? "To tell you the truth, I'm not sure," Hossa said. "Obviously, it's going to be a little bit of both (mixed)." It can't possibly be as bad as it was in Pittsburgh on Feb. 8, can it? "We'll see, maybe nasty surprise," Hossa said. "It's going to be interesting." Hossa left Pittsburgh as a free agent four weeks after the Red Wings defeated the Penguins in the Stanley Cup finals. He was traded from Atlanta after the Thrashers were unable to sign him to a contract extension. The club did not want to risk losing him for nothing in the offseason. Hossa had 108 goals and 248 points in 222 games in less than three seasons with the Thrashers, teaming up with Ilya Kovalchuk to form a potent one-two punch. "When I was in Atlanta, it was good time," Hossa said. "I was playing tons. Good team, we didn't make the playoffs my first year, made playoffs after second year (2006-07, they were swept by the New York Rangers in the first round), fans went crazy. That was really good experience for the team. Overall, I look at lots of positives." The Thrashers are out of the Eastern Conference playoff picture, but won a club-record six consecutive games before their 6-2 loss in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Goaltender Kari Lehtonen has been the catalyst, winning his past five starts, allowing only six goals and posting two shutouts during that stretch. "Their goaltending has been fantastic," Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said. "We're going to get a real good test from a big man in net, the kind of test you face at playoff time. When the other goalie is really good, you got to outwork him."
