I'd say you could call it the "(Insert goalie's name) is now my *****" move. So far Turco, Vokoun, and Harding are on the list.

Great Wallpaper! :goalie1:

4 for 11 on Saturday, ouch
-
Even if Ovechkin's hit was in any way comparable to Perry's, you would never see Perry look worried on the bench on what he just did, or inquire to see how the player he hurt was doing, or apologize.
-
And to think we were all impressed with Semin after giving Crosby the business in the media and then proving it with his stats on the ice earlier this year

Ken Holland's "Deadline Special" Predictions

Can't see any moves being made other than, as mentioned, a cheap enforcer. -
Maybe he had a little too much fruit-cake this Christmas.

Pav's moves are just sick. Thank God we re-signed him in 07, I'd hate seeing him do that for someone else.
-
Komisarek and Price are both Habs, so it's a given; Giguere probably because he's French Canadian. Montreal fans are all crazy, they think that the Habs should draft only French Canadian, that all French Canadians want to play for the Habs, and those who don't are booed (like Briere and Lecavelier).
-
Semin needs to hide after that. No way he can show his face after that.
-
Caught the last bit of the shootout, and good to hear Ozzie had a solid game tonight
-
That wasn't a fight. At all. Funniest thing I've seen in some time.
-
Nothing to do with his play, but I don't like the look of the Brian's pads on Ozzie. They just don't look right for some reason.
-
Hey, at least this time he was hitting his "upper body" area instead of trying to fist his ass.
-
Wow.....I don't even know what to say.
-
That just makes me want to cry.
-
Anyone else think the Wild are regretting not trading Gaborik sooner?
-
Hopefully Ozzie comes out and plays strong, and the D steps up in front of him tonight.
-
4 for 6, not a bad start
-
Wow, horrible thing to hear about.

Per MLive - Update from a late afternoon practice in St. Paul: Henrik Zetterberg stayed off the ice, saying his groin felt tight during the third period of Thursday's Winter Classic. But Zetterberg said he should be able to play Saturday against Minnesota. Coach Mike Babcock said Chris Osgood will start in goal. He hasn't played since Dec. 15, when he strained his groin. Babcock said forward Tomas Kopecky and defenseman Derek Meech will return to the lineup after sitting out the last game. Meech will replace Brett Lebda. Babcock said the move isn't based on Lebda's performance, he just wants to get Meech in the lineup.

GDT 2009 Winter Classic: Red Wings 6, Blackhawks 4
Hockeytown0001 replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in Hall of Fame
Ok, forget every other Blackhawks fan quote so far. Here's the ABSOLUTE best one yet - "How can you respect a team that plays dirty hockey and gets away with it because the NHL has a hard-on for them? The wings play some of the dirtiest hockey in the league, late hits, high hits, slashing and hooking like crazy...no calls. On of their players runs our goalie, oops, thats our fault, we should have given you a clear lane to the net. What? They got called for that run? Better throw a tantrum and make the refs call a BS Highsticking on Toews to "make it even". They don't play a clean game, there is nothing to respect." I don't think I've ever found a better example of a bandwaggoner fan who doesn't know s*** about hockey.- 1,043 replies

Not a dirty hit IMO, and Ovie sounded sincere in his apology and wanting to get updates on Heward's condition. Just an unfortunate play that happens several times a night, only this time the player got hurt. No suspension.
