Per MLive - Update from Tuesday's morning skate: Nicklas Lidstrom (ankle) didn't skate and won't play tonight against the Blackhawks. Coach Mike Babcock said Mikael Samuelsson will be a game-time decision. Samuelsson, who's been sick, didn't come to rink this morning. If he can't play, Derek Meech will take his place at forward. Chris Chelios is in for Lidstrom again. And Ty Conklin is starting in goal. Players and coaches families took the team plane to Chicago this morning, in advance of Thursday's Winter Classic. Their kids and family members will get a chance to skate at Wrigley Field Wednesday after practice. "All our families are over there already, they'll get to watch our game (tonight) on Chicago TV,'' Babcock said. "They're going to skate tomorrow. Initially we thought our kids were going to play their kids but (Blackhawks coach Joel) Quenneville told me that (Jonathan) Toews and (Patrick) Kane are their kids and I thought that was too big an advantage.''

Over on their board they're talking about a dynasty.....a good reality check for them would be the reminder that at least a Stanley Cup title must be achieved, let alone a playoff series.

4th line. I had the starting lineups from the last game and forgot to get rid of the Meech scratched part.

Bulin Wall's starting for them, he always seems to play well against the Wings

    2009 Free Agents

Lose Kopecky and hopefully Malts retires and bring in Chris Neil, at the same time bringing up Leino/Helm permanentally.

    Future star John Tavares's

Sucks for him though to think about that he'll probably be teaming up with Stamkos in Tampa or in St. Louis
  18. Hockeytown0001

    Bring up some Griffins?

Bring up Help/Leino to replace Kopecky/Maltby.

    Hate

Maybe the St. Louis fans just go nuts over tacos

LOL check out this GEM of a Topic....

How about not sounding like the typical Hawks fan on their board over there? But your basic point is true - playoff success must be achieved to be considered an elite team.
