But what I meant by more octopi than hats for Selanne is that it shows what kind of "fans" the Ducks have, the same ones who didn't know what was happening at Honda Center later one evening (the first game of their title defense in the playoffs last year) and that they were playing the Canadian city of Minnesota during the Finals in 07. Good thing that there are fans like Duck Guy who are knowledgeable and give respect to the Ducks name, rather than the majority who had no idea what hockey was until 2007.

Awesme to hear Duck Guy was in a Wings jersey! But I think the best part of the story was that there was that more octopi had hit the ice by the end of the game than hats for Selanne's hat trick!
