Agreed. He is one of the top 5 goalies in the league right now, and Vancouver would be completely lost without him in goal. Curtis Sanford as your number 1? He's the main reason why Vancouver made it to Round 2 in 2007, later being nominated for the Hart and Vezina and placing 2nd in voting for both. And he's the only reason for any success at all that Vancouver has this year, and also why he was named captain.

Maybe Sid sold his soul to the devil to win the Cup just once....so Satan's here to feed him the puck and put him into scoring positions.

I'm kinda on the fence here. While it does kinda sound like the guy's whining a little too much....if he's the better goalie, then he should be put in and been given more chances to play. Besides, there's plenty of reasons to not want to play for Atlanta regardless....their god-awful baby blue uniforms, terrible hockey city, no talent after Kovalchuk, on and on and on.

Trade the Leafs and Blues around, only thing for me at least.

Worst thing about the Hawks? Their "fans", who like Penguins "fans", were mysteriously absent these last few years, drawing about what, 9,000 people to a 21,000 arena? And then whenever the Red Wings come to town, the only reason they'd go to the game is to degrade the Wings and their fans rather than cheer for the Blackhawks. With all their promotions on the scoreboard yelling "Detroit Sucks!" (even when the Wings aren't playing there), obnoxious fans who can't name 2 players on the team other than Kane/Toews, and alot of other stuff - I wouldn't mind seeing them flounder for years to come.

He's definately deserving of, at least, consideration for the Hart as MVP. Any team that doesn't have Brodeur or Luongo would automatically name Lids their MVP as well.

And if he plays like he did in the 2nd round, sick or not....goodnight. But seriously, I'd love to see the Caps improve on last season. Much more than a team like Atlanta or Nashville.

I actually recall back in the Colorado series in Game 3 or 4 when the Avs scored with Lilja on the ice...the reaction by alot of people here was something like "I bet Cheli would have had better coverage on that one". Oh well, get better soon Cheli. I guess this means not so fast with a trade before the season.

Just what I was about to say. Without Luongo, the Canucks are hopelessly lost (they're not too far from that with him anyways.) He is the team, and the only reason for any success they have this year. Not a bad choice considering he's their MVP.
