I know. I'm not blaming the officiating for a Wings loss like I did when I was 11. The NHL officiating is a joke, period. Another perfect example is Los Angeles getting boned on the obvious high-sticking goal. The bad part is that they aren't held accountable for their actions, and anyone who questions them is punished.

If Detroit's regular roster was only able to compete for a low playoff spot and was playing a superior squad missing many regulars, I wouldn't feel that great about the win in a game that you would normally lose had the opposition had their full roster.

Watching Kopecky score followed by his goofy smile isn't that bad. It's like watching the mentally challenged player do something right.

*bump* These officials are the definition of incompetence. Another intent to blow call destroys the momentum of the game. Detroit is doing plenty to shoot themselves in the foot in this game, but the officiating is beyond horrible once again.

I love how they immediately signal goal off of the crossbar, but immediately waive off a goal for Detroit.
