Having played hockey before, yes. Speaking of throat protectors, I think they should be mandatory for all goaltenders to wear. A goalie's throat is far too exposed without one.

I can see that, but when it all comes to a head, blocking the goalies view is blocking the goalies view.

I'm surprised there aren't more injuries involving skates, but also thankful at the same time. We can be thankful that the skate caught his wrist, instead of anywhere near his face/neck as has happened in the past.

So, while in Kansas City, I visited the mall that I'd been to over 100 times growing up. Talk about a ghost town. Only 14 out of 250 stores are still open. I giant shopping center about three miles down the road is likely to blame. Pretty much the only people inside were old folks power walking.

Wonder how long Homer is called for an unsportsmanlike penalty. Blocking the goaltenders view of the puck surely is unfair and therefore must be considered unsportsmanlike, right?

I still disagree with the call, however. The official waited until after the goal was scored to call the penalty. Pronger put his hand down a good full second before Richards even got a shot off.
