He won't. I'd be in favor of introducing a rule that when a player injures another, he doesn't play until the injured player returns. Of course, that would mean a certain member of the Red Wings would be unable to play at this moment, but whatever.

I won't wish upon him a career ending injury, but I certainly wouldn't shed a tear if he's hit in the exact same manner that he laid upon Savard. I don't see Briere as a dirty player. He's certainly not the punk type like a Cooke or a Perry. Has he done stuff in the past that he shouldn't have? Yes. Does he have a reputation for being a dirty goon? If he does, he shouldn't.
