I'd be most comfortable with losing Ritola.

I hadn't even thought of him. I think that most don't consider him a TRUE American, considering that he was actually born in Canada, and a reason why so many Canadians were sour that he played for the Americans during the Olympics rather than the Canadians. But regardless of that, I don't see Kane topping 500 goals, much less over 700.

He's talented, but I doubt that he'll overcome Modano as the highest scoring American player, or Chelios/Leetch, two of the best Americans at their position. Heck, a young Jeremy Roenick was more dangerous than Kane, Roenick scored 149 goals in three seasons.
