That save is still unbelievable - that's easily a candidate for save of the post-lockout era IMO.

I did not watch as I was working. The person below me thinks more people should be posting in this thread.

Nuggets Chicken nuggets or chicken strips

Not if you read the first few pages. Some of them are happy about it, while others were calling for Stan Bowman to be canned. Unless you're reading a different board.

I was just about to post simply, "1993".

I still don't get what your problem with his post was. Obviously, he doesn't think much of Fugly. Neither do I, and I'm not shedding any tears that he just got traded from a Cup winning team to a bottom-dwelling Eastern Conference team with baby blue sweaters that struggles to fill their arena to even half capacity.

Pavel is epic. Congrats.

I also was there for that

...... Other fans in the NHL hate the Wings because they're the Yankees/Lakers of hockey.

Their fans aren't exactly amused by this over on their side of things.

For now. Remember, Stevie Y also reportedly turned down Tampa in the beginning.

Deadliest catch. Lobster tail or crab legs

Both are great. If I had a choice, free weights. Free weights or home gym (bowflex)

That's partially due to the fact that teams like San Jose and Calgary, while they have incredibly talented goaltenders, massively overplay them to the point that they're burned out come playoff time. That's a huge factor in Calgary's four consecutive losses in Round One (and missing the postseason completely this year), and why the Sharks were never able to get over the hump.

If that deal falls through, I'd say Columbus got raped on that one. Especially if Spezza continues his annual ice-cold streaks.
-
He's certainly no Vezina candidate, but we saw what he could do in the '08 playoffs when he was on his game. On a better San Jose team, his stats could greatly improve from the last two seasons.
-
I don't know why, but I see the Sharks taking a chance on Dan Ellis.

If the Ducks are able to compete at a high level this season, I can realistically see him wanting to lace 'em up again.
