He didn't run over Vokoun, he slashed at his stick. The most he deserved, as stated above, is a 2 minute minor. Vokoun could have gone for diving as well.

Definetely a Flyers fan now. They took it to Montreal, and Leighton was unreal. Briere continues his torrid pace, and Leino chips in a terrible goal Halak will have nightmares over. Why was there no GDT for the Flyers/Habs and Hawks/Sharks?

I have a feeling that had Detroit tried to do that, he would have rejected it in the same manner as whoever it was that said he'd rather go back home than play in the minors. Leino just didn't have a very good attitude here.

It's never good to make your goaltender team captain for that reason. I would think they would want either Kesler or one of the Sedins.

He's not doing so hot this season either. Only two goals after Game 1 of the Western Finals. Granted, one of them was an overtime winner. But still. He was underperforming at this time last season, but at least had an additional two goals.
