Crosby's TEAM has avoided suspensions and punishments (Malkin, Cooke). Ovechkin, while a true sniper and exciting player, is excessively reckless. I don't believe him to be a dirty player, but rather that he loves playing hockey and sometimes his competitiveness gets the better of him. Although I can see how some people would consider Crosby's ass fisting to be cause for concern.

Yzerman is one of the only top picks the Wings made something out of. Lidstrom, Osgood, Fedorov, Konstantinov, Kozlov, Lapointe, McCarty, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Holmstrom, ect were all picked very late, when most of those players could easily been a top pick with the way their careers have panned out. A reason for Detroit's success is being able to spot diamonds in the rough that nobody else noticed.

Washington's current jersey is much better than the old black/tan/blue one. I didn't care for Vancouver's new blue jersey at first, but its grown on me lately and I'd take that one over the older ones. -
