If a Duck would have kicked it in, the play would have gone to video review. Toronto would inform the officials that the NHL rulebook had just been ammended this afternoon to say that both kicking the puck in is now allowed, as is batting it in with your glove. PP Coming.

Well now, apparently the rule of batting the puck in with your glove can be bent when playing Detroit.

I fully expect the Wings to come back in this game. Not the best of periods, but both goals were total flukes. A deflection and a batted in with the hand goal that should have been called back.
