(When Evgeni Malkin, who looks like his face was hit by a train, can swap spit with a pretty attractive girl, anything is possible.)

Right now, Dailyfaceoff.com is reporting Jimmy as the starter. Babcock never said who was starting last night, so it's probably a toss up. I'd like to see Ozzie in tonight, however.

We were in a situation for us to get two points and them to get none. Then they end up with two and we get one and it doesn't help build any confidence either."

The "smells of the game" are no different than any other arena in the NHL. As for the Palace, Holland has already stated that the Wings will be playing at the Joe next season. Hopefully, it will be similar to the Penguins situation, who are playing at Mellon while their new place is being built.

I remember on ESPN's "The Season", cameras followed Hull into the Wings room and caught him in a "f*ck" filled rant after a loss. Wish we could see stuff like that more often.

I know why Detroit lost tonight. The hockey gods are finally paying us back for defeating Chicago 3-2 in OT after trailing 2-0 with under 40 seconds to go back in 2005.

I've never seen such a collapse at the Joe, and I've been to over 40 games. I'm lucky because I can count the number of losses I've seen at the Joe in person on one hand.

What's worse is that he looked to have missed the net by a mere foot or two.

I was mostly upset about losing the Cup. Had the Red Wings blown 2 goal leads in both Game Six and Seven....oh boy.

I don't remember ever being this upset after a hockey game. I don't even know what to say. This team is so full of fail right now, it's mind boggling. I will always live and die with the Red Wings, but seriously, this s*** needs to end.
