Chicago would have to give up a lot to get him at the deadline, and there's no way they could afford to sign him during the offseason. He would be a pure rental, and would effectively hurt them in the long run IMO.

Understandable, but would you rather have a Marty Brodeur in his prime or Patrick Roy/Dominik Hasek in their primes?

It has to be something with confidence. I don't remember him getting pushed off the puck so easily last season when he was contributing regularly.
