I think his final lasting memory is being unable to put the puck into a gaping net after having had a good full 2 seconds to shoot.
-
Pick him up only if he decides to show up in Overtime of a Stanley Cup Finals game.
-
Already a thread.
-
GDT Updated with Ozzie as the starter. Gonna miss this one due to class, hope I come back to see Ozzie did us proud tonight.
-
That was a sick move. I haven't seen him do that one before.
-
I'm liking Eaves more and more with each game.
-
Yes, at Steve Yzerman's retirement ceremony.
-
This is true, but nothing like that should have been said during an interview. Was this on live radio or television or just something someone happened to pick up at random?

Patrice Cormier with shocking hit on Mikael Tam
Hockeytown0001 replied to Doc Holliday's topic in General
Lifetime ban. The elbow was so obvious and so obviously intentional that Tam's family should sue the QMJHL blind if there are no serious repercussions. -
Agreed. Had he hit the net HALF the times he's hit the post this season, he'd have over 20 goals.
-
Instead of Overeacting educate yourself on the Facts of Ott's Goal
Hockeytown0001 replied to a topic in General
I'd love nothing more than to see a video on that -
I see what you're saying, but I still think that he means the Wings won't be going to the Palace. The report says that Holland didn't hesitate to name Joe Louis Arena as Detroit's arena for next season. I think had this been on the fence, he wouldn't have commented on it, or would have used different wording.
-
Thank God. The Red Wings playing at the Palace would be uglier than Nashville's old sweaters.
-
EDIT: Nevermind. I forgot that the Palace would lose seats when configured for hockey, as it holds over 21 thousand for basketball. EDIT number 2: I may have spoken too soon. lol
-
Fail. I once saw a car that was draped in Boyd Devereaux memorabilia.
-
Is that honestly a suprise to anyone?
-
When did you hear this? I would absolutely LOATHE seeing the Wings play at the Palace.

1/17 GDT: Blackawks 4 at Red Wings 3 (SO)
Hockeytown0001 replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
A tired and depleted Wings team showed they can hang with the rest of them. That was good to see.
