This is true. Also, taking into account the several hundreds of posts in each GDT, as well as the inevitable "___ Thousand posts for a Wings victory!" threads, I can see it happening.

If I could remember exactly what date and thread it was, I'd go there right now and paste the evidence here. A lot of Blues fans get ugly when a Detroit fan shows up. I was immediately banned from the site within a half hour, despite like I said, congratulating the Blues on a recent victory over Detroit and complimenting them on their progress while saying good luck in the future. Remember, these are the same Blues fans who literally want Red Wing players to bleed to death on the ice and be taken away on stretchers whenever the two teams match up.

In related news, Gary Bettman hosted a banquet in Auger's honor, at no expense to anyone.

The biggest error of the game in my mind was Babs tapping Cleary for the shootout. God knows we all love Danny, but he just can't get it done in the shootout....or breakaways, for that matter. I still wince thinking about the end of Game Six in the Finals.

Any deal will definately include Brett Lebda. Although I'm not even sure Atlanta would be dumb enough to take him.

Anyone who can pull that kind of move in the shootout officially does not suck.

On another note about opposing fans.... Even the worst of opposition fans are treated like KINGS here at LGW compared to other sites. I once registered on a Blues fan site about 2 years back and praised the Blues for a good game against Detroit and wished them luck down the future. They told me to f**k my mom and then banned me from the site. I know that several posters at LGW have had similar experiences. Don't complain about some Red Wings fans not being exactly welcoming to cocky opposition fans. You'll still be treated 10x better here than elsewhere.

If you've been around here that long, then you'll notice that there are several well liked and respected posters of other teams on here. The thing we hate is when other fans come to stick their thumb in our eyes after their team beats the Wings. You haven't done that from what I can tell, but comment about the Eaves fight was off. There was no clear winner, both men got in good shots.

On a positive note, Lidstrom looked like his old self today.

Very disappointing loss. Especially after Dats and Bert's shootout moves. Howard had a good game, but needed to be better in the shootout.

Cleary is a good player. In the shootout, not so much.
