I was there to see his only goal in the 3rd game against Chicago....it was an attempted pass that hit John Madden's skate and went past Huet. I still can't believe he only has 1 goal on the year. Maybe the tendinitis is really having an effect on him, and who knows, maybe he's still feeling the effect of being speared between the legs. I already know what its like to be merely bumped there in the wrong way, but I could never imagine the pain of actually being speared there. You can't not consider the possibility that he's still experiencing pain from that.

Never thought I'd say that, but I would bring him back here. Not sure what his salary is, though. Only question is, would he fight Stuart for #23?

Haha, the article says that "Tomas Kopecky of the Detroit Red Wings" is on the team. Who knows, maybe he begged and pleaded to be with his, ahem, "friend" Hossa on the team as well. We all know he can't go anywhere without him.

Definately deserved better. It's still hard to believe how many times the Wings have gotten shut out this season, but I guess it can be looked at as testament to the importance of the players that are injured. Once they start returning, things should turn around. I understand losing games because of that, but getting shutout 3 out of 4 games plus two in a row last month is just unacceptable.
