Another thing - the Joe is one of the only arenas left in the NHL with a non-corperate name. Which sounds better - "Let's go down to Jobing.com Arena!!" as opposed to, "Let's go down to the Joe!" No contest.

Again, for the 100th time, I say who cares if the arena is older? How is it any different than attending a game at Fenway Park or Wrigley Field? Those ballparks are over 3 times older than the Joe, and yet nobody is calling for them to be torn down. The Joe is both the most historic and hockey atmosphere filled NHL arena in the United States. Period. Madison Square Garden hosts too many other events to be considered in that category, IMO. The only thing I'd do is create more bathroom space, as that is a problem. Other than that, the Joe is fine.
