Report: Jeff Carter has affair w/ Scott Hartnell's wife
Hockeytown0001 replied to Dominator2005's topic in General
I didn't know they sold Hartnell wigs at Wachovia Center, as they did at the Palace for Ben Wallace. He seems like a nice guy off the ice. I wish he wasn't such a prick on the ice. -
The Positivity of all the injuries *right now*
Hockeytown0001 replied to Miller Brew's topic in General
Kinda strange, every time I think about Detroit's injuries, I seem to always forget about Jason Williams. Can't wait to get him back on the powerplay as opposed to Meech. -

Apparently Mrs. Hartnell has never gone in to see Dr. Rhamani. -
Merry Christmas to all.

Chicago chants "Detroit Sucks" when Hawks play other teams?
Hockeytown0001 replied to Miller Brew's topic in General
Except I'm pretty certain that if Chicago finished 1st Overall in the West while Detroit finished 15th, Chicago would still chant Detroit sucks. Then what would it be? -
Over a gallon per day. The person below me has gotten all their Christmas shopping done.

We Should Have Gooned it Up These Last Two Games
Hockeytown0001 replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
No. Detroit was expected to lose these two games. But according to Chicago fans, missing 8 of your regulars is absolutely no excuse for sub-par play. At least Patrick Sharp gets it. -
Off topic, but I always get a kick out of your sig.

Hockeytown0001 replied to Miller Brew's topic in General
At least Chicago has some good fans. Columbus, on the other hand, nobody there seems to know what the hell's going on. -
I still hold Hossa in high regard for that move. As stated before, the only reason I'd be upset with him is due to his sub-par play in the playoffs when it mattered. He had no obligations to sign with the Red Wings beyond 2009, and frankly, I would have been shocked to see him back here long term.
-
Aww, did I offend you? Here, I'll make it up to you - Don't spend too much time getting off to that, Mommy's right in the next room.
-
Brodeur > everyone else. Period.
-
Oh wait, silly me. We can't even entertain the mere thought that missing 8 regulars might have something to do with sub-par play. Detroit is expected to beat Kane, Toews and Hossa with Ritola, Kindle and Janik. Not having Zetterberg, Franzen, Kronwall and Cleary to name a few had NOTHING to do with it.
-
Nope. Out with the flu. Another casualty of the curse Hossa left behind.
-
U2 or the Rolling Stones

Can't say that's ever happened to me before. The person below me is registered for class next semester.

Sharp also expects the Wings -- who've won the Central Division in each of the last eight seasons -- to get healthy and regroup as the season goes on. "It feels good to win these last two games," he said. "But we're realistic. We know that the Wings are going to come back with a great team towards the end of the season. It's unbelievable what's going on in their dressing room as far as injuries are concerned. You never want to see that, especially against your No. 1 rival. "They're going to be there at the end of the season, and until we can beat them in a playoff series or finish higher than them, they're the champs."
-
I'd boo Hossa because he completely s*** the bed in the playoffs and did nothing when it mattered most, rather than leaving after signing a 1 year deal.
-
Pittsburgh's announcer has one of the worst voices for calling hockey i've ever hurt. Included in his company are the commentators for Minnesota and FLorida as well.
-
But thatz no excuse!!!11!!!! Detroit suckss doh hoho!!!

If Detrot was out of the playoff race, then it wouldn't mean anything. Understand how that works? And actually, what's pathetic is that you show up only when Chicago beats Detroit. When it's the other way around, you're nowhere to be found.
