At least most intelligent Hawks fans acknowledge that this wasn't a good series. Detroit had too many regulars out of the lineup to have a chance at winning.

Murph was wrong. This was in no way a statement series. Chicago was expectd to beat Detroit pretty easily in this series, no way Detroit could match up with their depleted lineup against a full Chicago lineup. Detroit certainly didn't help with case with less than stellar play, but this was in no way a good matchup.

I guess that proves the point that Brodeur is plain naturally talented to stop pucks, regardless of pad size. Not many goalies can say that. I'd love to see how goalies like Giguere, Legace, Luongo, and yes even Osgood would fare with Brodeur sized pads.
