Driving the net in overtime against Colorado, he lost an edge and crashed into Craig Anderson, who laid motionless in his net for several minutes before being assisted off the ice and replaced by Peter Budaj. Completely by accident, but still pretty ironic.

And sorry, but the simple fact is that Chicago is going to have to unload a big portion of its depth in order to handle these signings. That's just the reality of the situation, unless we all missed something and the cap was raised by $20 million overnight. Unless you can acknowledge that your team is going to have to greatly sacrifice in order to facilitate keeping the big three plus Hossa around, then you're no more intelligent than the fans who started watching hockey 2 years ago and foam at the mouth while shrieking "Detroit sucks!!" when you're not even playing us.
