I think people are still expecting him to play like in 2002/03, where he scored over 40 goals. For $1.5 million, he's been a good signing. He's just had an ass backwards case of bad luck. If every one of his shots that rang off the iron had gone in, he'd be easily leading the team in goals right now.

How about #10: Datgood
-
Just don't go with a crazy combination, like so :
-
Definately a steal if he's able to stay consistent.

How about after Mule and Williams return: Franzen-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Bertuzzi-Zetterberg-Cleary Leino-Filppula-Williams Eaves/May-Draper-Helm/Maltby
-
Best: Osgood, Keith, Toews/Kane, Parise, and Erikson. Worst: Finger, Huet, Campbell, DiPietro

Coyote's Minor Leaguer Follows Filatov's Example

Probably not, but does this have anything to do with salary? Or is it honestly just an effort to add to his game in an effort to come back stronger than ever and earn a full time spot? -
Fair arguments in the end, but would you rather have the Red Wings with Datsyuk or without?
-
It was a good move in the shootout. I don't remember him ever being able to pot one in the SO during his first tenure in 2007, so this was nice to see.
