The best national announcers IMO are Dave Straider, Ken Daniels, Joe Beninati (yes him) and Doc Emrick. Dunno why, but there's a natural likeablity factor with Doc, I just find it hard to dislike him. -

Floppa is not going to join the Red Wings. He was given the chance to a few years back and declined, saying it wouldn't feel right suiting up for the team that was his bitter rival for so many years.
