personally i think there should be a laugue rule that says if the player doesnt report to camp or doesnt play for such reasons as "i might retire". he shouldnt be able to play the entire season nice way to cheat on the cap, on a sidenote -

jonas hiller won the swiss cup as a rookie during the NHL lockout. He faced tons of NHl elite players. hiller is most certanily the guy I would want to have as a backup to be developed into the number 1 on any team. You saw his first NHL game in London, which he played magnificently. He is the real deal

there is no way a guy like Abby will stay in the AHL. He already has about 3 offers from Swiss teams and I am sure he'll get offers from Russia and/or Sweden. It would be beautiful if he where to end up or had ended up in Pittsburgh. That team is going places and he is the right age to be part of that -
