what i would really like, if once in a while the Wings end up with a rookie or a young stud who scores 40 goals. It seems like every other team has one, some have multiple.

8 games and a -9. so basically every time e plays, the opposition scores. Good times

for me one thing sums it up we let Hossa go and we are still stuck with guys like cleary and we resigned Sammy last year. I won't bring up the Brunner f***-up but the idea that we have Weiss at 2 x the money for the next 5 years gives me ulcers Seriously.... edit: ok, that is two things

just took a look at cap geek.com so here are some observations: he has two more years on his contract and then he is still an RFA (oldest RFA ever?) capgeek lists him in the column "buried contracts". Yeah, i bet he feels like that too You know, if I was a young player, I would love getting drafted by the Red Wings- Having said that, I would also like to play and make the most out of my career. Increasingly the Red wings are no longer the team of choice for these guys. Its simple math for players.

ok this type of loss was probably what nobody expected in a good way but the lack of scoring is becoming worrisome. The more Babcock shuffles, the less they score Dare I say it.....I miss Brunner in view of Weiss and his 5 million

there are three candidates this season, Cleary, Sammy and Franzen. I am rooting for no one but suspect it will be Franzen

Brunner @ 2.5 million has a goal and three assists in three games. Meanwhile we have over 10 million for two players injured.

i work in the building next to the hockey stadium.....the parking lot is shared by the team and the companies in the building. its a sweet deal for me. takes me 30 seconds to go from my office to the entrance of the hockey stadium

looking at Capgeek without any statements about the pros and cons of keeping a player, it just strikes me that Bert and Sammy are a financial liability....
