i don't agree with everything he says, but i love the guy. i'm sick of tv personalities having to be so polite and p.c. all the time. don cherry states his opinion and doesn't care if he offends anyone.

i like the day game. i hate being antsy all day. when we're on the west coast its like i'm always just trying to kill time before the game starts at 9.

why don't we just go all the way and make everyone where the same equipment as goalies? that way no one ever gets hurt. i also think skates are too sharp. someone could get cut. they should take away the skates and just let the players run around a gym. and to make extra sure no one hurts anyone else we can make touching opposing players illegal. if you touch another player it will be called a foul and he'll get two free shots from the blue line.

the lions are probably the biggest thing in detroit, and with the draft coming up i don't expect the sports talk stations out there to cover much else. the red wings are my favorite out of the four detroit teams, but in the whole area the red wings are fourth. unless its college football season. then the wings are probably 5th.

maybe it will be like our situation with bert. as long as we're winning we won't rush him back. i think if we lose game one, he'll be back for game two.

i don't mind afternoon games. they only have them on the weekends so its not a problem for me. 10:00 games, on the other hand, are bad 'cause i work in the morning.

if he's like his brother i'd rather not have him in the league. positions on hockey teams should be reserved for guys who know how to play hockey. i'm not saying i don't like fighting, i think its part of the game. i just think fighters should also be able to contribute in other ways.

coverage for the wild is pretty good in minnesota. i just wish they'd cover the only team that counts though.

it was a good article, but i can't believe the writer thinks maltby was running kipper. don't they have tv's in calgary or do they just listen on the radio? if you don't want matby falling on top of your goalie you shouldn't push him there.

i think chelios is still a good defenseman and probably better than anyone we could call up right now. he's doesn't put up huge numbers anymore but he plays very smart.

i had a playoff beard, but i had to shave cause of a job interview. i got the job, but if the wings lose it was still a mistake. for tonights game i had chili and tropical punch kool-aid. i thought eating red things might help.

i have even better idea. after one shootout round they should have a hardest shot competition. if its still tied after that we can do the fastest skater. then just repeat those until we have a winner. then coaches can take everyone out for pizza afterwards for trying their hardest.
