emmerton was ripping apart the ohl early in the season but has cooled off. don't know very much other than that. i don't know if ryno likes to hit. i could be wrong but i get the impression that hitting isn't as big in europe as it is in north america. i like the way our future looks right now. we just need to add a power forward or two.

the red jerseys are the real red wings jerseys. they only started wearing white so players wouldn't get confused when they were playing montreal. red should always be worn at home.

i never really gave too much thought to icing until coach's corner the other night. i guess i never reallized how crazy touch icing is. essentially it forces two guys to skate as hard as they can into a wall. i'd be in favor of no touch.

i don't see what the problem would be. worst case scenario is they only play as well as lang and williams.

fooled me too. i know shanahan, for the most part, was a hired gun, but for me he will always be a red wing. i wish he coulda retired here.

i wasn't around to see him early in his career, but i've read that stevie was always responsible defensively. i think he even got one or two first place votes for the selke back in '89, his 155 point year. i think the reason his playoff +/- isn't on the positive side is because of how bad the team was when he first came to detroit.

the red wings only average 2.36 goals against a game and andhave 144 total goals against. 2nd and 3rd best in the league. they have the best team plus/minus in the league. i don't think defense is a problem. edit: they also face the fewest shots.

i understand. i grew up in michigan, not far from detroit. i was just saying gas stations get robbed more than banks.

i'd like him to return, but if it's still risky he should stay out. he's still young and still has a lot more hockey to play after this season.

i think the five games against nashville will decide the division/conference.

i think he stays in new york. he left because he didn't feel he was a part of our future. after his contract is up i don't think he'll change his mind.

i agree. i don't like snow until thanksgiving week.

so no one likes lang because he doesn't put up huge numbers in the regular season, but shows up in the playoffs. and people ***** because datsyuk has great regular seasons but doesn't produce in the playoffs. some people are impossible to please.
