The look on crosby's face after Zetterberg blocked his shot. That look could summarize the entire series for the Penguins. They didn't know what hit them.

Burke has been making comments for Lowe for a year, and Lowe has kept his mouth shut until now. Now that Lowe has finally responded Burke is demanding that he be punished in some way. This just doesn't seem fair to me.

Why does Goodfellow come off the list at this point? He is the second best goalie in the 80 year history of the Detroit Red Wings. His stats and cup rings say he should be there. The one thing that really does it for me though is how much he loves the city and organization. There isn't another player on the team that loves being a Wing more than Chris Osgood.

Draper and Maltby are both signed through the next couple seasons. Mac and Cheli aren't going to free up enough room to resign Hossa, Zetterberg and Franzen. Unless Holland can talk those three into taking pay cuts, Hossa will be gone after this season.

Does anyone expect him to stay next year? I don't. The reason Holland only offered him one year is because he knows the Wings probably can't afford him longer than that.

i think the Wings will focus on resigning/extending their own players. i wouldn't mind seeing rolston in the Winged Wheel though. with a guy that can shoot like he can on the roster Babcock would have to take Samuelsson off the point on the second PP. also, there's no way Helm stays on the roster as a 13th forward. if he isn't going to have a regular shift he should be in Grand Rapids. -
i completely agree. i can't believe Therrien bitched so much about the officiating. has a team ever had so many third period 5 on 3's in a single series?

i know i can't be the only one. a GTG sometime would be cool. watching games alone just isn't as fun.
