ah, i gotcha. they took the sonics for granted, and now that they're losing them everyone's sad. don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you got till its gone...

after that i like Samuel Adam's Boston Lager and Brown Ale. the local liquor store out here has Moose Drool, but i've never tried it because of the name. since you're vouching for it i think i'll give it a try next time i need some beer.

sounds like the NHL is trying to beat burke at his own game. the ducks suspend neidermeyer so his salary wouldn't count against the cap while he "contemplated retirement." the league fines neidermeyer for missing training camp without permission. burke says they gave him permission, but if they did give neidermeyer permission then why was he suspended? well played mr. bettman.

i only read the first couple posts, but i'm going to weigh in anyway. this is the single dumbest thread i've ever seen on any website. i visit 4chan from time to time too.

maybe one of you guys should ask for a try out at training camp next year. certainly with your vast knowledge of goaltending angles/positioning you'll be a lock to make the team. i'm surprised you guys aren't in the NHL right now. right now we can't seem to handle nashville 5 on 5, and thats why we lost. Dom's been great.

Why is it that when Detroit gets the lead and the defense gives up a goal that another one seems to always follow? I felt that the defense has so much confidence when were up and the minute one goal goes in another is right around the corner. Example in games two and three of this series. Anyone feel the same?

i don't really have a ritual. i get a little superstitious sometimes. during the series against the sharks last year, i forget which game it was, the one we won in overtime. i was listening to the motor city's burning by the MC5 when we scored the tying goal. after that i played the song on a loop until we won in overtime. i used the song in a few other games after that with varying results. if we're in a pinch this year i might use it again.

i'll always choose to remember the Eagle for his outstanding NHL career.

the criteria for retiring a number should be this, take any player, and ask whether or not team x should retire his number. if you can't answer yes immediately, without thinking about it then he doesn't deserve to have his number retired.

i was thinking more along the lines of brendan shanahan, norm ullman or ebbie goodfellow.
