Even if he never goes to Toronto (and I really hope he doesn't) can Scotty stay away from Hockey? Will he ever end his retirement to go run another Team? The Toronto rumour could get other clubs wanting to talk to Scotty. What's everybody think?

The Toronto media are a bunch of jokers. I don't believe the Leafs would ever be willing to make the type of wide sweeping changes Bowman would demand. They are the Bush administration of Hockey. "Stay the Coarse" no mater what. Unless it's a yearly goalie change that is. And the part about Stevie is just goofy. Not gonna happen. Just like the Leaf's and the play-offs this season..Not gonna happen. What? Are Jason Blake & Toskala really supposed to turn things around for them. They'll be read to drop Toskala for the next available FA goalie next summer.

Should Sergei Fedorov's number be retired in the future?
BowmansBrain replied to Chaldean's topic in General
Osgoods jersey will never hang along side Sawchuk's. It's silly to suggest. Fedorov is a much more likely candidate for such an honor. He was the first Wing to win a Hart Trophy as league MVP since Gordie in '63. When will another Wing even be nominated in the future? Lidstrom's jeresy being hung is a sure thing. Fedorov is the next most likely. Much more so than Shanahan or Osgood. Reguardless of how fans may feel about his departure. -
Amen to that Brother.

Kenny made the perfect move. Rafalski has put up more consistant #'s through out his career. Souray just broke out last year. Watch his #'s drop w/ the oilers this season. And watch him turn over the puck again and again.

Which of the 7 'big' names get into the Hall this year?

No kidding. What gives there? -
Which of the 7 'big' names get into the Hall this year?

The Hall is not just based on what a player did in the NHL. Larionov is Mr. Hockey in Russia and did alot to clear the path for other Russian to play in North America. I am not saying he goes in ahead of Messier Stevens, or Francis. But when you add his 3 cups with the Wings in, I believe he goes in ahead of MacInnis, Oates, & the turtle. -
Messier heads HHOF list According to TSN Mark Messier, Igor Larionov, Ron Francis, Scott Stevens, Al MacInnis, Adam Oates, & claude lemieux are all eligible to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this year. However 4 seems to be the usual maxium number that get put through each year. Messier is a sure thing. Who does everyone like for the other 3 spots? I am going with..... 1. Messier 2. Larionov 3. Stevens 4. Francis Though I hate to make MacInnis wait. But if they only pick 4, I say go with these guys.

And Again! Thank God is right. However I must say that going after Bowman is the smartest thing the leaf organization has done in years. They are clueless over there.

I guess this means the Wings have 1st place in the cental division locked up before the season even starts.

The fire sale continues! Unreal. It is gonna be a long final season in Trashville. Won't be much of a team left by the time it gets to Hamilton in '09.

f*** the Ducks! I am glad Chelios didn't give those goons the satisfaction. I am for sure buying a Chelios jersey this summer. He is THE MAN! Go SENS!

Oops double post.

The Ana/Van game 1 was blacked out on Versus in L.A. because it, like most Duck games is shown locally on KDOC. You should get this channel through your cable company. It is channel 962 on DirecTv. But it is just a local O.C. channel and any L.A. cable provider should have it.

OH YEAH! GAME ON! God Bless the Senators!
