i am on board the "eva" bandwagon.... ville is afraid to go to the net, hold the puck, fight for ice. i cant help but see his GLARING mistakes every game. he makes lebda, samuelsson and lang look good. i for one think that ritola, or tatar sauce should get a look right now and bench leino. i have lost patience watching him.

report on "eklund" stating that the caps have loaned michael nylander to grand rapids griffins for remainder of year. i didnt know that was possible. well if its true maybe the kids can benefit from an experienced player feeding them pucks. hmmmm.

WOW. i mention no bitching because i am tired of seeing everyone attacking this player and that player and what happens....i get s*** slung my way from someone because i have an opinion that could improve the team. so this makes me a retard. for having an opinion about a guy that gets pushed off the puck like a 3year old gets pushed off a 10 speed. i would rather have lebda cross into the zone with possession than leino. his first goal was amazing....has he scored since then? well huselius has....a lot more. he has been on my wish list for a few years now and he could definitely fit our system even if it turns out as a wash (player for player) in a few years it would benefit the wings greatly to collect a few scorers and cut loose the drifter. unfortunately that means loosing some players of "somewhat value" to acquire. i would rather have lang back! (at least he could score, when you pried him away from his coffee break) so...do you have your opinion that i can call you a retard about....hmmm? remember...leino is benched right now, so have at it... come on. lets be juvenile! p.s your thoughts about leino are poopy flavored.

i personally think it could be a good move....both can handle the puck...but both are not jellin' with their teams. i am sick of seeing leino get pushed around...and when he has a shot, miss the net religiously. any thoughts?

i have noticed througout the years that when we play "unknown" (young/rookie/) goalies we dont fare well. we can chase broduer/luongo/turco all day long....but go up against a goalie we dont see much....bad things usually happen. i may be on the kryptonite of the wings a bit...dont know for sure...im not a stats guy. so tonights atlanta....hmmm. hot young rookie goalie. i dont know if i want to watch...but i will. come on wings....fricking score. anyone obsessed with stats should look in to this...

i just shelled out my 2 cents in the j.will injury thread because the lebda bash spilled out over there. but here it is again in stereo...make him a forward. his problem is being the last guy on the ice. put him in the offensive zone and i bet he will do better. he can use his speed to chase down odd man rushes. meech paired with stuart. kron" the warrior king" with ericcson. lebda/helm/abdelkader with kron and ericcson that way if anybody gets past lebda...kron can dislocate their evening. otherwise....change his zip code to north lower michigan.

i think that now that j. will is on the shelf.....this just became possible. cheap...effective to a degree....can play on any line in my book. think "irish jig" back in the joe.

IF lebda continues to play for the wings after tonight....watch his style when he attacks with the puck in the OFFENSIVE zone. he has moves...speed...and a good shot. his problems have always been under pressure, and no one behind him. having the "blind" appreciation of lebda for the past years, i have always notice that when he gets a feeling to attack the net, he makes GOOD things happen. maybe his affect on the play when he attacks, is a direct result of him being a defenseman in the offensive zone and wrecking the opponents coverage application....i dont know. but , yes.....lebda does need to try something different, maybe its a zip code. remember...before you bash me...the wings brass decided to keep him on the team, and they have done a pretty good job of seeing talent. so i am not crazy. well..ye..no i am not -ish. yes. ok. ok.

trade kronwall is not gonna happen.... there is a long list of potentials before you get to kronwall. he has been getting more and more reliable as he matures and his hit meter keeps some scorers from going all out against his line. not gonna happen....(please!)
