Just bolded Ty to give the dreamers their dream. I think it's going to be Rolly/Smith in TB. Smith has been recalled and made it through waivers. ...and I agree with the new CBA NEEDING a better buyout, penalty for stashing, and waiver system.

TSNBobMcKenzie : Condition on STL 1st rounder is it's top 10 protected. In other words, if STL 1st rder is top 10 this year, COL gets 2012 pick instead. No info. on the conditions of the second rounder, that I can find...

via McKenzie: ATL trades Brent Sopel and Nigel Dawes to MTL for Ben Maxwell and a 4th rder. Done deal. Ben Maxwell was #Bulldogs leading scorer with 11G 29A for 40P. He was top PP producer with 7 PPP. MTL fills their D need. Dawes was playing with the Wolves - 25G 17A 42P. 4 years older than Maxwell. -

Hmmm. $1.1 Million Pay/Cap-hit for Smith on re-entry. Wonder if he'll make it through... Supposedly this move was endorsed by Mario, for what it's worth. -

Ducks land Dan Ellis from Tampa for Curtis McElhinney. Ellis has another year on his deal next season at $1.5 million while McElhinney is UFA so Tampa clears cap space for next season. This cannot be good news for what is going on with Hiller. -
