Again, Franzen is our tradeline move. This year, added to the move is Lilja, and Kronwall. Also says he wants to replenish the system by keeping draft picks. -

This is why I voted No -- we should wait to see his potential. I don't think it would hurt to put him back on as a winger and see what he can do.

I'd call it a wash because CHI is going to lose Barker anyway in the offseason. Wiz is an RFA. CHI can then negotiate, make an offer, or trade his rights.

stevkrause has never said that Filppula couldn't be traded, just that we would regret it. His comment about having your arguments grounded in hockey knowledge had everything to do with comparing Helm and Filppula as centers.

Okay, howsabout TSN8? I usually take the day off to watch the trade deadline... even though it's typically not worth it. Today, I don't have to work until this evening... so, I wouldn't mind having it on while doing stuff around the house.

I'm surprised that TSN or TSN2 isn't covering this mini-trade-deadline the way they cover the actual trade-deadline. You know... all day coverage and wild speculation.

I never said we should move Williams to make room for Lilja. All of my Williams talk has been only speculation for a acquiring an additional forward. I do not think moving Meech, Lebda, and waiving May to bring up Lilja is desperate.
