I second the thought, except I don't want tosee Bertuzzi out on PK Let it be Draper, he deserves one today.
-
Did you see Datsyuk face wash on Greer?
-
Thanks, Zhenya! Nabokov to Datsyuk - goal!!! Souinds like Team Russia is playing
-
In other words,i'm screwed?
-
So, with the Derby scheduled next, what's gonna happen if the game goes long?
-
Draper's line may be the best line so far.
-
Good kill
-
Great job Draper!

A weak call on SJ but nice work by Lidstrom to get it.
-
Holmstrom is back! He's made this goal happen!
-
Traditional start with SJ scoring the first goal, on a Hasek's almost traditional blunder, but no matter, my faith is strong.

This team is 6-4 in the playoffs. 2-3 on the road, 4-2 at home. We would have home ice at least until the Cup finals. The TEAM is doing OK. One might as well critisize Datsyukand Zetterberg for not scoring in the third period on the road or in minutes 24 through 35 of games or whatever esoteric stat one may come up with when they didn't happen to score. If the team loses, then its leaders get to shoulder the most of the blame. I'm sure either one of those players would gladly go without scoring asingle point, if the team wins. I think the emotion of the thread starter could be best summed up like this: "I really wish the Wings could blow every team out in every game at home and on the road, and I would like to see Datsyuk and Zetterberg each score a goal or two in each game. Since we are not winning every game, lets see who is to blame. Ahh, neither Datsyuk, nor Zetterberg scored a single goal on the road. Lets call them out on that." As a fan, I want that too. But SJ is a very strong team, and we have split both home and road games with them. That is we won and lost the same number of games at home and on the road. Regardless of who scored where. Stats that matter: DET 2 - SJ 2 Stats that don't matter: All individual stats.

I think the Sharks are potentially a stronger team, but they can't play up to that potential consistently, for whatever reasons. Lucky for the Wings, they can and are playing at 110% in these playoffs. So the series will go 7, since I can't imagine the Sharks lose (or win) 2 straight. And who will win Game 7? LETS GO WINGS!

Have you seen any of the Wings games, playoff or regular season this year? This makes me question your judgement or your eyesight.

While I don't think he played poorly enough to deserve to be called a liability, he certainly hasn't palyed up to expectations. He floats a lot, seems ineffective in front of the net, and takes unnecessary offensive zone penalties. If he keeps it up, Lang may lose his title.
-
Damn. But we'll get them on Wed. G'nite everyone.
-
Bertuzzi took another stupid penalty. Thankyou Todd.

Crucial PP coming. Lets go Wings!
-
Funny, on that set up for the Michalek shot, the TSN announcers were tooting Thornton's horn fo0r 5 minutes, saying how fine a passer he is, and then on the replay it was Grier who gave that pass to Michalek.
-
BS call on Lang, but the evil do not profit from their misdeeds. Wings Rule!
-
Nice period. The Sharks had to drop back and play passive defense after the first 10 min. AGAIN. Except this time they aren't up 2 goals!
-
Lang is playing like there's a fireant up his pants.
-
we scored first this time!
-
Hit the post. Crap

Quincy will be the first D out of the lineup, whenever Lebda or Kronwall can come back. I'm not worried either way. Our D is fine. Heck, after Game 2, our whole team is fiiiine.
