A dynasty ? Guess you're playing way to much NHL09... It's hard enough to win back-to-back Stanley Cups.. let alone in a salary cap era. But you want to raise the bar even higher by building a dynasty ? The last NHL-dynasty ended 20 years ago. Maybe that says something. And you don't have to be a genius to figure that out. Furthermore, even teams that had goaltenders like Patrick Roy, Dominik Hasek or Martin Brodeur haven't been succesful in building a dynasty. p.s. Please don't say 'boyeeeeee' again. Ever.

Basically, Osgood is somewhat okay if he's on a Stanley Cup winning team, but if the man is struggling you'll drop him like a sack of potatoes. Nice. You just be a true fan.

True. What I meant is merely that everybody has its price and value. Of course, it's not likely that Lidstrom or Datsyuk are going to be traded, but what happens when a certain call out of Washington or Pittsburgh comes in ?

In all fairness, Ozzie has been mediocre the first half of the season. I'm not that blind. However, I really think he has been improving since Jan. 1, but the flaky defense and his GAA paint the wrong picture. Ty is playing well, no doubt about that. But let's not make him something he isn't: A bonafide starter or someone has can carry a team far into a postseason. On every team has been, he's never been the starter.
