Why not ? Everybody keeps saying that, but given the fact that his last start was mid-January, we'll never know ! And it's not like Jimmy Howard is playing lights out at the moment..

This whole situation in which Mike Babcock is starting Jimmy Howard this much in a row and rendering Chris Osgood virtually ineffective by benching him this long, will bite in his ass eventually. I really think is starting to look like some macho bulls*** by Babcock. I mean, come on... he can't give the guy a start against Minnesota ? Especially when there are signs that you're starting goaltender is beginning to struggle a little ? Not even workhorses like Kipper, Luongo or Brodeur even, play this many without a break. Is Babcock trying to humiliate Ozzie ? Cause it sure looks like it..

I don't think Kimmy played that good / confident since the OG. Why not give Chris Osgood a game ? And why do some people keep talking about " a risk " when it comes to Ozzie. The man is able of winning some games, have we forgotten that ? And please stop talking about his form or achievements, because his last full game was somewhere in december. Whatever the outcome of this season is, Babcock has handled this poorly.

I'm pretty sure Ozzie supports Jimmy. There's no bad feelings there.

Well, he did play a career-high 8 games this season.. so that's not too bad for Rick. Shame though...

Crosby didn't play well at all in the Olympics. Invisible at times, even. But: He scored the game winning goal in overtime, in the Olympics, in Canada, against the USA. It's utterly sad, but that makes up for everything. I still hope he drowns in burning oil one day...
