You can't stop the stop the shots that are not taken, because your defenders are doing are great job. what's your point anyway ? He had 21 shots, he stopped 20 and lost a shutout with 50 secs. to go. I think that's a pretty good job.

Hell no. Holland is no where near to be blamed. He has done all the right things by keeping good players in Detroit and get rid of some mediocre ones. There's only so much a GM can do.

Truly great players don't have to resort to such actions. Once more Sean Avery proves he's nothing more than a mediocre player and a even more mediocre human being.

I'm not saying he's near Brodeur, Lundqvist, Nabokov or Luongo. But he played 44 games, won 23 with a GAA of 2.34 and a (league leading) SV% of .924. If he would have played 60-70 games while maintaining the same numbers... I guess he would have been a candidate for the Vezina.

If Ellis had played more games... he surely would have been a candidate. So bringing up Ellis is not a comparison. Hudler is nowhere near a award in any way, shape or form.

This is an important game. Winning gives you a 3-0 lead in the series, which (let's be honest) is a lock for winning the series. Losing makes it 2-1 and can give the Preds a boost. let's hope the boys can keep feep grinding and scoring like in the first two games. 4-2 Wings.

I think he's the biggest certainty for any award this year. No single doubt in mind that Ovechkin will get (and deserves) the Hart Throphy. There are more candidates of course, but his influence on the Caps is far greater than anyone elses on their team.
