All this discussion about one tiny sentence on NHL.com ? Jimmy has a good shot at being Detroit's starting goaltender one day. But let's not forget: last season he had a terrible regular season in GR. Fortunately he recovered well in the playoffs, but he has to show some consistency.

You do know how old our starter is, right ?? Goalies are rarely limited by age and are able to put up decent numbers in their 30's... even their 40's... And the Detroit organisation wouldn'r sign / re-sign anyone (even Ozzie) for sentimental value. This is the NHL. Anyways: Good news for us fans !

I started playing hockey when I was 12. Because I was a terrible skater (still am...) I became a goalie at 14. Played till I was 22. Unfortunately, I couldn't combine it with my professional life... too bad !
