Which former Wing would you choose?

Vladdy first, Fish second. The other ones would be nice, but let's be real: These guys had some real bad luck. Health is everything. If somehow we could give it back to Vladdy, I guess we all would.

    Jussi Markannen signs in Finland

He had just some bad luck: In Edmonton, Tommy Salo was the starter, in New York it was Mike Dunham. Back in Edmonton again, he was battling with Conklin and Roloson. He played a good couple of games against the Canes when Rolosn got injured in the playoffs, back in 2006. His 06-07 numbers weren't that great however.. Good luck to Jussi.

    Teemu Selanne

It would be awesome having him in Detroit. Selanne is someone I really really respect. Like Loo said, on and off the ice a standup guy !

    Bert a Bust?

It's a lot of money for Bertuzzi. And it's a lot of money for Vishnovsky too.. But we really can't tell now. A year from now we'll know.

Today is the day for Avery

I don't like Avery. And he has bad breath. (I think..) That should count for something too !

    Forsberg to the Wings?

The fact he's not a known Red Wings fan is hardly a reason not to want him...

    Top 11 Tainted Sports Achievements

I think that list is total BS. How can one put Nykesha Sales' career scoring record or Howe's '6th decade' in the same list with Maradona's intentional hand-scored goal. That was pure cheating.

What happend to these two ?

Byorn Dafoe and Felix Potvin. Nobody signed them after the lockout. Did they officially retire or are they still available ? Not that the Wings shouls be interested, but some teams could sign them for cheap.

Anyone wanna see some REAL hockey?

Those Salsa jersey's are awesome !! Too bad those aren't in the NHL. The San Jose Salsa. Doesn't sound that bad either...

What happend to these two ?

Thanks man, but it's really only second-hand info... it's all on the net.

What happend to these two ?

Well, then we would have to decide what makes a goalie under-average, average and above-average. And that's individual judgement. For you he was average, for me he was above-average. let's agree on that. according to http://www.hockeygoalies.org/bio/fiset.html : Announced retirement from professional hockey, September 10, 2002.

What happend to these two ?

Both are 36... 7 years younger than Dom. It's funny how retirement comes early for some people, while others keep on going ...Chelios / Hasek

Hasek: A Man With Unfinished Business

1990-1991: Barrasso 1991-1992: Barrasso 1992-1993: Roy 1993-1994: Richter 1994-1995: Brodeur 1995-1996: Roy 1996-1997: Vernon 1997-1998: Osgood 1998-1999: Belfour 1999-2000: Brodeur First of all: There's no such thing as a 'weak' starting goaltender who won the Stanley Cup. Second: Chris Osgood earned to be on that fine list of goaltenders who won a Stanley Cup. There's just nod denying that. btw: Chris won't care. His name is on the Stanley Cup.

Remember Jamie Mclennen Calgarys stick swingin backup

very true, but I believe there's a difference between players like McSorely, a one-man-destruction-company and player like Bertuzzi, a skilled and scoring winger who has some occasional rage outburst..

Ray Emery & Senators Avoid Arbitration

Smart move by the Sens. Emery had a good playoff run, but wasn't peaking IMO. He's obviously very talented and will get better every year. 3 mill a year is still a bargain if you ask me.
