As long as Kenny doesn't sign Yashin, I'm fine with everything. Just don't let the Wings be the team that gave Alexei Yashin another shot... Guerin is a decent player. 4.5 million seems a bit too much though. And the end of the season we can say if it was for sure too much..

Well, not really worried yet, but it would be nice of he would sign already. How long does a negotiation have to take ? Kenny : "Dom, how about 1 year, 1.3 million ?" Dom: "Nah, that's not enough Ken.. " Kenny: "Okay, how about 2 years, 2.6 million ?" Dom: "Damn it Ken, I was talking about the money !" That's two positions a goaltender should not want: Being backup for Roberto Luongo or Martin Brodeur. If they don't get injured, you'll play 4 to 6 games a year.. Where's the fun in that ? A goaltender like Kevin Weekes (not a superstar, but a reliable goaltender nonetheless) should aim higher. IMO.

I'm still confident Dom will return for another season. And if not, Raycroft could be an option for the right amount of money. 3 million or less.

let's be honest: pressure = playoffs. He hasn't been there yet really, so we can't tell what he'll do under pressure. (I don't count those 5 games first round games last year..)

They consider Mason their future franchise goalie, I guess. A lot of money, but I think he'll be worth it. Unless he pulls a 'Theodore' or 'Raycroft' ..
