Zetterberg plays hockey Datsyuk plays highlight reel I prefer hockey
-
he was hurt to much to count on though.
-
not necessarily, it's just the most publicized.

many teams aren't used to these big games this early in teh year, many of these guys are just starting to play together so it's hard to say what would have happened later in the year (I for one am glad Ohio State lost, but still)

Well, for your sake, I hope you're asian- otherwise you might have a broken heart. Rejected from U of M? Personally I know 20some people that got accepted into U of M the past 3 years that went to a public school and are white. If you have the grades, the act score, and a letter of recomendation it isn't that hard to get into U of M. Whether you want to accomplish those three things is up to you not your race. Actually, never applied to U of M, nor did I want to- it was MSU all the way. Give me a break, have you ever walked around the U of M campus? I know two white 4.0 students with more accolades than you and I put together (not to mention alumni ties) that were rejected. I also know 3 minority students with GPA's significantly lower than those of the others- hardly any extra curricular activities that were accepted. Does this describe every student (white or not) at U of M? Of course not, but to deny that there is a problem there is idiotic. having spent time at MSU I can say the same there, my uncle was aprofessor there, my aunt graduated from there, and they tell you that there are people on any campus that shouldn't be.Part of being accepted is personality not just grades and extra curricular activities.(neither one would let me apply at MSU the suggested a community college since that was the education I would get in the area I was looking at.I ended up at GA tech)

Nabokov reminds me too much of Gigure(sp) who had a great run then was mediocre at best the next season
-
it was a good game, I was amazed I got to watch it (being in Al we don't get much that isn't atlanta or new orleans)
-
it wasn't so much that, but I keep hearing people say UM doesn't ahve this or that, they are still among the top 25 teams, and they may surprise next week this is one loss to a big rival who always steps up (and is way underrated because of a new coach)
-
what I find funny is all the complaining how bad UM really is, there are some other highly touted teams that lost that are still getting respect (Auburn lost to GA Tech, but bama fans are still worried about them as is most of the sec)my opinion is you can't say how bad a team is until your favorite beats them
-
against a team that the coach is told "your career here hinges on this game, you get blown out you don't come back" (I know it's not exactly that, but pretty close)rivalry games mean more than non rivalry.

at least they aren't State fans

Michigan has had trouble with the big games under Carr, especially early in the season.I have never liked him they are young and inexperienced, but they have great potential (Grady looked good except the fumbles)
-
literaly. They'll pick up someone decent but overlooked more than likely

I hope it's not true.Drapes should be great with the new rules, he's one of the fastest skaters on the team.I doubt they would let him go
