My point was people got over it... it didn't taint Baseball in any way shape of form... ergo Hockey too will live to play another game... its all good we can move this out of our mind... and only discuss when some poor unfortuante goal is called back due to the Avery Rule! THIS was my original statement leading to the A-rod discussion:

Thats not the point... the point is there was no other fielders to make the catch because A-Rod (opposite) team was the one calling him off the ball... ergo ball would fall to the ground... but anyways i think what Avery did was funny as hell... that will never change soooooo with that...

a Disctraction by a member of the opposing team is a distraction by a member of the opposing team whether it is red delicious or orange having a runner behind an in-fielder trying to call them off the ball... seems like a distraction to me.. a ploy to get the fielder to miss his assignment (catching the ball). Same as Avery was distracting Brody...trying to get him to miss his assignment (stopping the puck)

Well of course i am... A-rod was disctracting the 3rd baseman at the KEY moment of the play... when the ball was coming down... So what if Avery spent more time there ... its not like they really fired any shots at brody...

Baseball seems to be doing just fine right now... even after A-rods antics and then all the doping issues. People are making way to big of a deal about Avery dancing in front of Brody... as evidenced by an emergancy amendment to the NHL official rules to include the silly verbage.

Thank god Kronner is picking up where the Pain Train never started. I am embarassed we call him the pain train. Maybe Kronner should now get that title... he appears to want to hit things. The only thing Lil' Ja is, is a pain in the Ass for fans of his team.

Michelin Man Giggy is what made him the bomb! Not to mention he is coaching one of if not the best team in regular season hockey for awhile now... It was a great present to receive this team when he did. I see a lot of differences... Bowman wins cup(s) babs won a cup!

Arnott seemed to want some more off it! actually relatively quickly. Maybe the wings should follow the philosphy... Score quick and often. Never give up! Never Surrender!

We always play sit back on our 1 goal lead... that makes for the most exciting hockey. Whine Gretzky actually got all the GM's on the horn and told them he is absolutely furious that teams would go up by 4 at any point of a game (IN THE PLAYOFFS NO LESS) so welcome to Gretzky ruled scoring!

Hey man i have seen nothing so far this series out side of his scoring.. he has stayed in-line and played hockey. Not saying he isn't a prick... but right now that is not how he is hurting us. I think we are too focused on his physical play (which he isn't even focusing on) and letting him get away on the score sheet.
